Berlin Air Show takes off from Berlin-Schönefeld International Airport
The MAT mission equipment carrier and PTA police tactics workstation are the main exhibits at the ESG stand.

The ILA Berlin Air Show is taking place from 27 May until 1 June 2008. With more than 1,000 exhibitors from over 40 countries, in excess of 100,000 interested professionals and some quarter of a million visitors from the general public, the trade fair at Berlin-Schönefeld International Airport is one of the largest aviation and aerospace events in the world. ESG is traditionally represented at this important trade fair with a large stand in Hall 7 (ILA stand number 7411), and the company is also exhibiting in the tent of the Federal Office of Defense Technology and Procurement (BWB) in Hall 3.
ESG is a specialist for the development, integration and operation of complex electronics and IT systems in the aviation and aerospace industry. In addition to their complete range of products and services, ESG will show two features at Berlin Air Show 2008: the MAT mission equipment carrier and the Advanced Integrated Mission Station AIMS for police helicopters.
The MAT mission equipment carrier developed by ESG is a flying experimental vehicle for testing helicopter components under operational conditions as early as the development phase. The system plays a very important role in the introduction of new helicopters and the modernisation of existing helicopters. (further information)
AIMS unites different individual devices in a joint system with a standardised user interface. This reduces the complexity of helicopter missions, and the police receive various add-ons for effective support during missions at the same time. (further information)
