ESG at eCarTec 2009
ESG presents energy management and solar power integration via active battery charging concepts in the Hot-C at eCarTec from 13 to 15 October

With the first international fair for electric mobility, a completely new platform has been created for intensive discussion on electromobility.
ESG Elektroniksystem- und Logistik-GmbH will be presenting its expertise in the form of pioneering solutions for energy efficiency and system integration in the automotive industry at eCarTec 2009.
The cross-platform ESG Electric Energy Manager is able to balance all energy flows between generators, batteries and consumers in the vehicle, thus supplying the energy currently required for each electrical consumer. In the area of tension between energy supply and consumption, the ESG Electric Energy Manager ensures optimal functional reliability, energy consumption, driver support and comfort.
ESG will also be showing its "Green battery balancing" solution, as well as concepts for photovoltaic systems which can provide long-term increases in energy efficiency, ranges and battery service life in the car.
The highlight of ESG's appearance at the trade fair is the presentation of the "Hot-C" electric vehicle with built-in ESG solutions.
At 13:00 at the eCarTec Forum on 13 October, Dr. Hieronymus Fischer, Head of ESG's Center of Competence for Automotive System Concepts, will be presenting concepts for intelligent energy management: "Embedded Photovoltaics – the petrol cans of the future?"
