ESG provides CMMI coaching
Over the next three years, ESG will provide the BMW Group with CMMI coaching in order to increase the efficiency of its electrical/electronic processes.

The BMW Group has selected ESG Elektroniksystem- und Logistik-GmbH as a long-term partner in the context of optimisation of the electrical/electronic (E/E) process chain. ESG's main task will be to provide process coaching for the component development process based on CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration).
In order to do this, ESG will work intensively with different divisions of the BMW Group over the course of the next three years.
As development focuses more and more on the electrical/electronic field, optimisation of the E/E process chain is becoming vitally important. ESG coaches will be used in over 100 component projects in order to guarantee that project staff apply the E/E process standards. This will further improve project execution in vehicle development and enable the company to attain defined CMMI target levels. Attainment of these levels will be evaluated using reviews and CMMI assessments.
With this project, ESG is making an important contribution to increasing the E/E process efficiency of the BMW Group, and thus underlining its own outstanding expertise in the fields of project analysis, improvement, rollout and coaching.
