Command & Control Systems

We plan, develop and integrate high-performance command & control (C2/C3I/C4I) systems which prepare information in such a way that secure decisions can be made. With integrated process-oriented information management, current and extensive information (like maps, situations, messages and orders) is made available at the appropriate levels. Taking account of joint and combined missions, we ensure the interoperability of our solutions with other systems.

Joint Command, Control & Information System (FüInfoSysSK)

Since the beginning of 2008 ESG has been main contractor for the first development stage of the Joint Command, Control & Information System of the German Armed Forces (FüInfoSysSK). The medium-term aim of the project is to harmonise the existing command & control systems of the German Armed Forces in order to achieve continuous interoperability. All mission-relevant data should be able to be exchanged between all forces as well as with NATO, EU or allied partners’ systems via one uniform system that can be used by the Ministry of Defence down to the troops in the mission area.

HEROS CAMULUS: Army C3I System

For the German Armed Forces we developed and integrated the Army C3I system HEROS CAMULUS. This mobile system is specially tailored to the requirements of land forces at the command levels corps, division and brigade. In 2004 HEROS was introduced into the 1 GE/NL Corps where it is intended for use during NRF 10. It is also in use at the Bundeswehr Command & Staff College (FüAK der Bw).

Air Force Mobile Command & Control System (MobFüSysLw)

ESG has implemented three mobile command post for the mission forces of the German Air Force as the movable part of the Air Force mobile command & control system (MobFüSysLw). A mobile command post is a platform for the operational command of an Air Force mission squadron in an operational area.
