Mobile Facility Management with RFID and SAP Integration

ESG helped the Berlin Water Company to convert its entire inventory process to RFID technology. The solution has to deal with more than 80,000 goods and materials that are managed at over 250 locations in the Berlin/Brandenburg metropolitan area. RFID labels were attached to the relevant parts and can be read by handheld devices. ESG was responsible for developing the software solution and integrating it into the SAP system.

SAP-GIS Integration for Maintenance

In order to organise and carry out maintenance processes more effectively, we offer the capability to connect business-logistic processes in an SAP system with geographical information in geoinformation systems. With GPS data, for example, location information of mobile deployment systems can be used to determine the nearest maintenance team. In our solution the processes can be initiated from SAP as well as from the GIS.

Master Data Management

Central master data across all modules play an important role in an integrated, comprehensive and process-oriented SAP implementation. In large companies that run SAP R/3 in several systems and work with different sub-projects, a uniform and obligatory master data concept is a necessary requirement to be able to use the main advantages of the SAP integration. ESG provides implementation and management support for master data in SAP within the SASPF programme for the Bundeswehr.
