Bundeswehr Transport and Traffic Network
ESG supports the Bundeswehr in making its logistic processes more efficient and economic. From February 2005 the company is advising the Transport and Traffic Network of the Bundeswehr in Wilhelmshaven together with the soldiers and employees of the logistics centre. In this way ESG is supporting the central interface of military logistics in Germany.
The Munich company is cooperating with a sub-contractor, SCHENKER Deutschland AG. In addition to supporting daily operational activity of the transport planning and operations in the basic management of the Bundeswehr, the main focuses in this project are the
- Conceptual design of the planning and operation of multinational und multi-modular transportation
- Conceptual design for transportation to an operation/mission
- Conceptual design and specification of corresponding processes in the SAP system of the Bundeswehr
The contract is a further building block in the long-term partnership of ESG and Bundeswehr in the field of logistics.
