Efficient implementation of the industrial safety regulations with OSIMA®
Since 2002, new regulations on industrial safety have been in force in Germany, which place greater responsibility on the employer to ensure safety in the workplace. Among other things, all work equipment must be checked for any possible interaction with substances or other work equipment used in the surrounding working environment.
Using our solution OSIMA, we help our customers to implement the industrial safety regulations in an economic and resource-efficient way. We offer a comprehensive range of services from systematic risk assessment and hazardous substance analysis to development, implementation and documentation of protective measures.
OSIMA produces the risk assessment using an electronic guide. Any changes in the legislation are automatically incorporated and attributed to the activities related to the device. A database for hazardous components or substances is also integrated. This can be used to determine the effects which the hazardous substances may have on individual activities. At the same time, OSIMA provides information on the relevant specifications and guidelines. An obsolescence module to identify obsolete parts and a training module are also available.
OSIMA enables the regulations on industrial safety to be implemented easily and thoroughly, with the aim of averting danger to life and health, as well of providing a legal security for employers.
