Lifecycle services
Technical documentation that is required for the operation, servicing and maintenance of facilities and systems is increasingly generated as interactive electronic technical documentation (IETD) using state-of-the-art information technology. This improves the document updating process and reduces the operational costs of technical systems.
In addition, the potential for further rationalisation is presented through networking with other information systems, such as diagnosis (BIT/BITE) or material management for eliminating media fallout.
Individual customer requirements with respect to IETD applications vary greatly. Consequently, within the scope of IETD generation, ESG provides flexible scope with the following services:
- Conception and generation of new interactive electronic technical documentation in the current formats (SGML, XML)
- Conversion of older documentation into IETD applications
- Implementation of an update service
- Integration of diagnosis applications, such as CBT or specialist systems
- Development of user-specific IETD modules
In order to provide these services, ESG has developed its own documentation system.
