Ability Simulator AbiDem

Our ability simulator AbiDem provides a framework for simulation in concept development, simulation of network-enabled capabilities, operation planning and training support. AbiDem can simulate any land, air, sea and space-based platforms and simulate the interaction of system platforms, sensors, weapons, communication, command and control and codes of conduct. By means of interaction simulation AbiDem shows the capabilities of an entire organisation in the interaction of technology and organisation. Under the name ViSArt, AbiDem is used as a virtual system simulator for training and decision support in the area of deployment systems.

Interface Test Computer (ITC) for the project „Sensor and Weapon Simulator (SWS) for F123“

For Rheinmetall Defence Electronics we developed an interface test computer to be able to test independently from original systems. Our tasks involved developing the application software (interface and protocol libraries), delivery of the ITC (hard- and software, integration, documentation), validation and verification of the ITC in the Marine C2I Systems Command. The ITC was used as a development aid in the laboratory and as a test medium for the SWS acceptance tests in Wilhelmshaven.
