A bright future for ESG
A new study confirms the company´s exemplary innovation and strategy management.

A high degree of customer and innovation orientation and a structured future strategy to define coming trends and themes are the hallmarks of ESG Elektroniksystem- und Logistik-GmbH. This was the conclusion of a study called "Corporate Foresight among SMEs" conducted by Z_punkt GmbH. Sponsored by the Federal Ministry for Education and Research, the study, analysed the future opportunities of a select group of companies.
Analysts at Z_punkt GmbH gave top marks to ESG: The aim of the company is to become a “"leading, internationally operating system and software house for development and service processes of software intensive, complex, technically advanced, and security-critical products". In order to identify future trends early on, ESG carries out comprehensive market and environmental analyses. Strategic decisions are not made "intuitively, but rather on the basis of orientation knowledge" drawn from structured processes, the study reports.
Two of the important pillars of the strategic future process are systematic trend-scouting and technology management, which are used to investigate upcoming markets and technologies. The information culled is bundled and processed in a special knowledge management system. "The information gained by foresight and processed by knowledge management flows into the strategy process, which takes place yearly."
Gerhard Schempp, Chairman of the Board of Management of ESG, describes the systematic process of future design as a central task of the entire management team. The Z_punkt study documents the fact that ESG has positioned itself well with its strategy and innovation processes in order to continue growing in the future and live up to its claim of being a technological leader.
